You’ve worked hard your whole life. You value independence, responsibility, and freedom from government overreach. You believe in America as a land of opportunity. But here’s the uncomfortable truth:
You’re being played.
Not by your neighbors. Not by immigrants. Not by the person on welfare.
You’re being played by the top 1%, who’ve been quietly rewriting the rules of the game while convincing the rest of us to blame each other.
Think about it:
- Wages have stagnated since the 1970s, even as worker productivity has soared. Who kept the profits?
- Tax cuts for the wealthy get sold to you as “pro-growth,” but where’s your share of the growth?
- During COVID, billionaires increased their wealth by over $2 trillion, while small businesses collapsed and you got a $1,200 check.
- You pay taxes on every dollar you earn. Many corporations pay zero.
This isn’t the “free market.”
This is rigged capitalism.
Call this what it is: class warfare.
The ultra-rich are consolidating wealth and power, not by producing more, but by exploiting a system that keeps you overworked, underpaid, and divided.
But here’s the good news: once you see the game, you don’t have to play it.
